With regard to your question, consider the following as it pertains to BMI. BMI does NOT take into account body composition and is simply an index of height vs weight. In general the lower the bodyweight the lower the BMI. However, BMI does not take into account bodyfat percentage therefore make sure to cross reference the BMI index with an appropriate body composition assessment. \ We hope this helps.
